We back the claim, not the wrapper.
Lyrik Ventures® is a London-based venture firm investing at the intersection of digital assets and artificial intelligence. We back a small number of companies early and know them deeply.
Backing the on-chain economy since 2022.
Since 2022, Fund I has backed companies across the on-chain economy — settlement and the movement of digital assets, real-world assets moving on-chain, agentic payments, and the privacy layer beneath them. The companies below are where the fund is invested today.
Examples across our focus areas — the rails for institutions, and increasingly AI agents, to transact in tokenised real-world value.
Custody & movement
Institutional-grade infrastructure for holding and moving digital assets and stablecoins — the layer where value is secured and transferred.
Backed by Nyca Partners, NfX and Wing VC.
Real-world assets, on-chain
The institutional infrastructure downstream of stablecoins — routing real-world value on-chain in programmable, institutional form.
Co-led at seed by Lyrik · Tether-led strategic round.
Agentic payments
Letting AI agents pay one another as they become economic actors in their own right. The thesis in a single company: it needs both halves — digital assets and AI — to exist at all.
Backed by Generative Ventures and Arca.
Self-sovereign data
A framework for peer-to-peer, self-sovereign applications, where data stays encrypted and user-owned — so institutions and agents can transact without exposing everything they do.
Seed co-led by Lyrik and Khosla Ventures.
Part of a focused portfolio that also includes Chaos Labs — backed by Haun Ventures, PayPal, Galaxy and Coinbase — Request Finance and others. We continue to back new companies across these areas.
How we invest.
Concentrated by conviction
A small book we back early and know deeply — the speed and focus a small fund brings. Conviction over coverage.
Technical & commercial
We read the architecture and the business model in the same room — the dual fluency this intersection demands.
Access to tokenised real-world assets.
The Nails is Lyrik’s access layer for tokenised real-world assets, built for professional clients and eligible counterparties. Non-custodial by design: Lyrik arranges access, and your assets stay yours.
Led by Rune Bentien.
Lyrik is led by its Founding Partner, Rune Bentien. Before founding Lyrik, Rune invested at ConsenSys Ventures — the venture arm of ConsenSys, founded by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin — where he co-founded the Tachyon accelerator and backed early infrastructure including Kaiko and WalletConnect. He came to the space from Google, where he spent nearly nine years in commercial enterprise roles across Cloud, Maps, Android and Chrome. That investor-and-operator combination is how Lyrik underwrites at the intersection: the architecture and the business model, read in the same room.
Based in London, Lyrik sources globally, drawing on relationships across Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States. The team is being built out from here.

Come with more than a deck. We want the product, the architecture, and real evidence of demand. The founders who land with us can explain why the business stands on its own.
